F.A.Q. (Frequently Asked Questions)

1. What are the tree seedlings you sell?
A. We sell coniferous (evergreen) seedlings because they are hardy, ship well
and adapt to most soil conditions.

2 What species should I order?
A. The Red Spruce is the daintiest and most suitable for baby showers or anywhere a small, niceley shaped little tree is desired. White Pine is also popular.

3. What other species are available?
A. Generally, we sell Red and White Pine and Red and White Spruce for eco-events across Canada.

4. How big are the seedlings?
A. The seedlings range from 6 to 12 inches, including a three inch planting plug. Red spruce is the smallest, white pine is the largest.

5. How much lead time do you need before the event?
A. As much as possible, but two weeks lead time is usually sufficient, but we've been known to accomplish the impossible.

6. What does it mean to place a 'reservation'?
A. Reservations allow us to plan our retail season effectively. Unlike inanimate objects trees must be planted will in advance (a year or two) before they are planted. We like to have reservations in by the end of May, but can often accomodate throughout the season.

6. Can I mix different species in one order?
A. Yes, we have several packages that contain a mix of pine and spruce. Please refer to our "Package" page.
